Granite is one of the most durable materials available on the market, used for many years as work surfaces in kitchens. Its durability is unquestioned. Our granite collection features both Silver-Grey and Indian Black options, each with flamed texture surfaces and machine-cut edges providing excellent anti-slip properties. The range includes versatile paving slabs in 900 x 600 x 20mm dimensions, complementary setts in various sizes (100 x 100mm and 200 x 100mm), and specialised granite copings with bull-nosed edges. The Indian Black granite notably offers a deeper, richer tone than Chinese alternatives.

When maintaining these natural stone products, it’s important to avoid acidic cleaners, which can cause permanent damage to the stone’s colour and structure. The granite setts work particularly well as decorative edging alongside porcelain paving, creating attractive contrasts in both colour and texture for your outdoor spaces.

How should I maintain my granite paving?

Regular sweeping and occasional washing with mild soap and water will keep your granite paving looking its best. Never use acidic cleaners as they can cause permanent damage to the stone’s colour and structure. For added protection, consider applying a high-quality stone sealant which can help prevent staining and extend the life of your paving.

Is granite paving suitable for driveways?

Yes, granite paving is ideal for driveways when installed at an appropriate thickness (typically 50mm). The material’s exceptional strength and resistance to wear make it capable of withstanding vehicle weight while maintaining its appearance over time. Our granite setts are particularly well-suited for driveway applications.

What makes flamed granite surfaces special?

The flamed texture is created by heating the granite’s surface, causing some crystals within the stone to shatter. This process creates a textured finish with excellent anti-slip properties, particularly important for outdoor applications where surfaces may become wet. This safety feature comes without compromising the elegant, contemporary aesthetic that granite provides.
