Slate paving is the more traditional choice for a garden patio or path and has been used for centuries due to it's charm and the ease of use it provides. Black slate as paving is an ideal choice for those who are after something traditional or even if you are after a more modern feel, as its deep colour is a perfect backdrop for planted areas. Our slate is sourced directly from the quarries where it is gauged for thickness and when necessary backed off to 25mm giving it very good consistency on thickness.

Black Slate Paving is the darkest of our entire range, and its colouring will never significantly fade. It is a very clean and modern looking stone and can be used for both internal and external applications as it is also available in a thinner tile format at 12mm thick.
